The
Last Session
Project

I decided to start the "Last Session Project" after I photographed my cousins dog for the last time, Riley. Knowing it would be his last time I would photograph him. Driving home with tears streaming down my face.

It is already the hardest realization that your best friend is nearing the end of their life.

I offer my services free of charge to document the last session with the option to donate if desired but not required. A quick 10 minutes photographed of you and your best friend, at our property located in Kalamazoo. I also offer in home sessions for these but do charge for the travel.

I have a big heart, but I have a HUGE heart when it comes to animals. I believe that this time should be documented & cherished.

This project is aimed towards pets who are at an extremely high age (over life expectancy)
or that have become ill.

Why did I begin this project?
A couple years ago now my cousins lost their life long dog, Riley. I personally grew up knowing Riley as well. When I photographed their family photos in the Fall of 2018 it was the last time that Riley was photographed. Knowing that he would be put down a couple weeks later. My cousins continue to tell me how much they cherish those photos of Riley with their two boys.

If you are looking to have this session done please reach out as soon as you can to book a time and location with me.
